This treatment is performed by our most experienced therapist (Michelle) who has worked on brows for a long time and Brow Art is her specialty, believable brows, nothing forced or fake thanks. That’s why she will start with how your brows naturally sit on your face, to get the best results, for a kick-ass set of natural-looking brows that even the old hubby will have trouble noticing for that good reason. They look completely natural and blended with your existing hair. Add a bit of creative ink to your natural brow that is textured and can breathe life back into your brow. Feather-touch is an art performed with manual hand tools which are disposable. Brows are individually customised to suit your needs. It is a semi-permanent brow tattoo ink.

Depending on your requirements the brow can be subtly coloured or completely remodeled as each new hair is intricately etched and coloured into the skin. This is an art and talent that takes time so allow 2hrs. We apply numbing cream so it’s a painless process. (Although we can forget sometimes if you’re naughty). So no more Mr. Spock struggle brows every morning, more of the Kardashian hotness, that you are happy to wake up with every morning. Bookings are essential as this is a very popular treatment.

Skin types
Clients who are heavy users of active ingredients in their skincare such as retinol, AHA, and vitamin A E and C are not recommended to undergo this treatment.

The procedure
You will be asked to fill out a consent form and a topical antiseptic crème will be applied to numb the area before we complete the design process. This is where the art design process starts, with the arch and tails to represent the shape we create. Feel free to bring photos or a look you love. Numbing crème is continually applied throughout the treatment for added comfort. You may feel the slight etching onto the skin, but it’s been likened to a slight tweeze to the skin.

You need 2 sessions to complete the perfect brow.

The healing
Depending on the depth of colour applied, most people are comfortable being seen in public within 2-3 days if not immediately. The colour will appear very rich for 48hrs immediately after the treatment then begin to fade away for the days to follow. There is a 7-day post-care treatment plan that your artist will go over with you. You are unable to use any oils, active ingredients, rich moisturiser, or toners on the skin for 7 days. Make-up can be used as normal but must not come into contact with the brows and surrounding areas.

Refreshes
Recommend every 9-18 months to keep the brow strokes looking defined, rather than a soft washed look. Due to the elements, this may vary from client to client.
