Microneedling

With this treatment being very popular, and quite frankly you will see why even after your first treatment your skin will begin its new fresh look and feel amazing. Our Micro Needling Treatment has the skin is looking better with age and capable of many actions, giving a treatment on a deeper level than ever before. It is an anti-ageing, look good treatment that we use in our Soak ultimate & celebrity facials or as an individual skin treatment to target areas of concern. Micro-needling is a minimal, gentle process that’s used to treat skin concerns via collagen production. Also known as collagen induction therapy. This service is very popular for anti-ageing or “pro-ageing” as we call it in the soak environment. This treatment has many positive effects, most often used on your face to help reduce acne scars, age spots/ sun spots, fine lines, wrinkles, large pores, sagging skin, reduced skin elasticity and uneven skin tone.
Micro-needling works by encouraging your skin to make more collagen.
Working from a pen-like tool, it pulsates the surface of the skin with mini needles, slight injury to the skin and the skin responds by making new collagen-rich tissue. Provides an unparalleled response through the segmented delivery of micro needles, creating micro-injuries to the epidermis (outer layer of skin) and the dermis (the inner layer of skin). As a result, micro injuries encourage the body’s innate ability to repair itself. The new skin tissue is, in turn, more even in tone and texture. It’s normal for the skin to lose Collagen via age or injury. By encouraging the skin to make new tissue, there may be more collagen to help make the skin firmer too. And we all need a little bit of that when things fall south!
You may notice very slight skin irritation and redness within the first few days following the procedure. Your skin will be more sun sensitive so a sunblock must be worn. Micro Needling is minimally invasive, requiring no downtime afterwards
To maintain the results of your treatment, it is recommended you’ll need at least 4 to 6 treatments and perhaps other complementing treatments. Your therapist will advise you on the best plan of action based on your individual goals on how we age.
